    m52 0bd1 intake manifold question

so i have a vacuum leak in my system and i traced it down to my icv hoses were either cracked or off a little. and i had some trouble last time trying to fit the connector from the icv to the intake manifold last time and it broke. so i just rigged it back together for temporary.

my question is how is the connector supposed to go in? i broke off the tabs on the end last time so i don't know if your supposed to bend them in or just break them off or what the hell to do. the piece is #9 and it goes into the back of the intake manifold

If you're not going to do it right, please don't take it out on your car!

I've tried epoxying the tab back on with no luck. I ended up buying a new one. There about 5-10 bucks from the dealer. Worth it to not have vacuum leaks

Did it go right in? Or do you just have to push really hard? Cause I have a new one its just so hard to get it in I didn't know if you have to bend it a little or what

put some oil on the oring and slide it in

Or get a hot glue gun, cover the oring in hot glue and push it in. It'll never leak after that lol
