Curious to see how you all have mounted your e34 DMEs into the factory location on the e30. Let me see so me pictures so I can see how I'll have to mount mine. Thanks!

I did that, too. flipped the dme around so the connector is facing forward. i'm gonna need to get it there in the near future so when i do i'll snap a few pics for you.

I hate modded emtree, I hate modded cawrz, I hate jdm, I hate swag, I hate stanceyolokids, I hate bags (on cars), I hate stuff that is slowz, I hate tires.
his problem is not the DME. it's the wiring harness. he got it out of an e34 (like i did) and it's shorter than the e36 one therefore it doesn't reach around the dme above the glove box. An easy fix is to mount the dme with the connector facing forward but then it doesn't play nice with the bracket...

This. So what I'm gathering is that I mount the DME "backwards" and just get it to work in the 318 bracket. I'd still like some pictures of others hadny work, but I'm guessing it'll be self explanatory when I get it all hooked up.

For those of you that are using the e34 harness, did you have to extend the 3 ground wires that go to the 3 relays? I'm having trouble getting enough harness into the interior to be able to run the DME backwards in the 318 holder.
