    1987 engine bay

I see a bunch of people using mechanical fan for their swaps, for some reason Im thinking 87 and earlier engine bays are shorter than 88+, because it is impossible to have a mechanical fan in my car.

The engine bays are the same.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

thats what mine looks like. i have an 86. a lot of people have the worry of the motor lurching forward and causing the fan to hit the radiator so i avoided all that possibility and put a SPAL pusher on the front of the radiator and havent had any problems

I definitely couldn't fit a fan in mine an I'm running solid mounts so I'm not worried about the engine moving forward i just don't have any room! , I'm running a pusher and it seems fine!
