    max bore for m50tub25

i read somewhere that max bore is different for the different m50 variants. i have an m50tub25 sitting in the garage and am hoping it will be ok/safe to bore it to s50 specs so i can use my s50 internals and get my swap going...does anyone have experience boring this block specifically? any input is appreciated!

basically a s50 is a bored and stroked m50 block as i understand, so yes, you can bore it to 86mm and put your rotating assy on the block.

That's the impression I had but then I read somewhere that the m50 vanos and nv blocks have a different max bore. I'm trying to confirm this before I pull my motor apart and drop it at the machine shop.

isnt a m50tub25 is vanos? so i would imagine if there are differences in the 2, then the one with vanos would be able to be bored out to the s50, which also has vanos. but this is just speculation
