    Is a non-airbag E30 subframe necessary for an M50 swap?

    Do you need an earlier E30 subframe in order for the swap to work? Thanks.

      IIRC the subframes are the same, however the steering linkages/column are different. I hope someone can verify. If not, just search for the differences between SRS and non-SRS vehicles.
