    Cool 'harddrive' car bro

and tell me, how often do you inspect your motor mounts? I guess you are special and deserve a ribbon.

IMO many people fail to recognize that their aftermarket headers are much closer to the mount than they should be. I rarely see anyone post pics with a shield on the mounts and this will of course be the #1 reason for premature failure and (although its hard to tell from photos), the ones on the last page seem to show heat stress. Some cars even have a cooling duct to the header side mount and this would be something to consider on a track car, no matter what mount you have. Just try putting your hand on the mount after a session.

I was under the impression that Revshift was also made for the swap, but they are just copies of e28 mounts..

I didnt say it DRIVES like a 700.00 car. It drives way better than that.. It was an automatic bottlecap clad blown head gasket POS when it was a 700.00 car.

Yes I understand most of cannot afford to drive Ferrari's but the fact is if you drop 2000+ on a motor, why use 30 dollar motor mounts? Its not my car so I do not really care what you run I am just sharing my experiences

But if it works for your customers and they have not come back with failures more power to ya, but this is my personal DD and drive it very hard so using motor mounts that fit correctly is ideal for me.
