    3 Wiring Questions

I got my OBD2 e36 harness all wired up today for the most part, and I had a few questions.

    1) I moved the VSS signal from x6031 pin 3 to pin 14 in the c101. Do I need to also move pin 1 in the x6031 for the CEL? I have read conflicting reports on this. If I need to move it, what pin on the c101 does it go to?

    2) I plan to eventually hook up my AC system. Is there any wiring that required to run it that I should do now? I see pin 4 on the x20 is for the AC compressor control. Do I need to connect that to the car body electrical at all, or is the AC run through the car body harness and bypasses the engine harness?

    3) The car is a late model, and c101 pin 20 on the body is yellow/red. I need to connect that to pin 6 on the c101, then connect both of those to pin 22 on the x20?

    Thanks!

Well I don't think I need to do anything else for the A/C, so that takes care of #2. Any help on #1 and #3?

1., Yes, to the pin on the c101 for CEL. The grey one duh! lol Could even be 12....

2.)Hook up the hot A/C lead (a black 2 wire connector in/behind the center dash that is wrapped in gray factory tape). Look for it and use the blk/red wire and pin it out to 64 on the DME to get the car to idle up when you energize the A/C. Otherwise, it will idle-cycle (up and down) because the DME will not know to raise the idle for a load.

        3.) Wai...wuuuh?!?!

I thought pin 8 on the x20 connected to the CEL pin 12 on the c101?

I think that is for OBDI. OBDII has pin 64 listed as the ground for the cam sensor. There is pin 19 that is listed as "A/C On Signal"

I was reading here about powering the ABS http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/show....php?p=2770506
Can anyone confirm that this is correct?
