Is this combo feasible for a custom mid-pipe

This is what I'm planning to do for a custom 2.5 inch exhaust for my S52....

    Shorty headers into Y-pipe

Vibrant or magnaflow metallic cat (whichever one is shorter)

Vibrant Ultra-quiet resonator --total length 14 inches

Borla XS muffler----total length 18 inches

Dual tip Muffler that hasn't been decided upon

If I have to go catless due to lack of space then so be it. I would also assume there's some overlap with regards to the total length of these cans and the piping.

Do you guys think think it's possible to cram all of this under the car? I was thinking something similar to this but I don't have a clue how long each of his components are....

    Opinions appreciated

Should be a non-issue... plenty of guys are rocking a similar kind of setup.

Should be ok. I have dual piping with 2 of those metal vibrant cats -- they're compact and 2 fit like a charm. The Borla should sound very nice. They offer that muffler in a round shape instead of oval I believe so it should fit fine.

      Length should be a non-issue.

I left out the cat and did a y pipe to a borla mid muffler to a vibrant muffler on my M50. Sounds and runs great.
