    M50B25 swap problems

Hello everybody, this is first time when i post something in this forum.I ran into a problem while doing engine swap to my E30.In engine harness i found some wires that were cut, and i dont know what to do with them. When i try to start the engine without them, there is no spark.Im starting to lose hope
and i was wondering if i going to connect +,- and ground wires correctly [IMG][/IMG]
    #1 is -, #2 is going to chasis, #3 is +.Am i right?

#1 or #2 may also be positive. When I put the engine back in my E36, it was a no-start and it turned out one of those wires was not clearly marked as positive. I swapped the post and it fired right up.

Don't loose hope dude! Give us a breakdown of what we're seeing -- where does the cut wire in the first picture go--starter/alternator? If that's it and that's the cut part, that piece of the harness should be separate and ease to obtain a new one. You can even use your stock e30 cable there it's just a three way hot wire.

I agree with above also, peel back or clean off the wires in the second picture, one of those should I think be +. Same thing happened to me.

Edit: after looking again, I have no idea what the first picture is... Aftermarket something wires? Where do they go?

Those wires goes to box above the engine, and i think they have something to do with fuel pump relay or ECU, because when i put one red and one black wires together, fuel pump starts to pump fuel, if i do nothing with them, fuel pump doesnt work.Number 3 is + for sure, because it is coming from starter/alternator/Fuse box.I looked at others builds and i couldnt see any wire like this(i hope im wrong), at least i have some motivation now :?
Edit:After figuring out where they go all i know they are going to ECU.
