    M50 clutch setup questions

    I have searched.

    I have a m50 from a 94 325i going into a 92 318i vert. I will be retaining the g240. This is going to be a DD.

Question is with the above setup can you run the m50 starter, flywheel and clutch?

Yes I know everyone runs with a m20 setup but was curious if anyone is running with that setup. I have a mention of one in Europe but little detail.

Yes, you probably could get away with using your g240 throwout bearing also, but I didn't check to make sure. Use the pilot bearing that matches your transmission input shaft diameter.

I didn't even think about reusing the throw out bearing, everything I read on the TBsaid go 320i.
