Suggest a clutch setup?

So... my E34 dual mass and spec stage 4 were fried when I tried to put 500whp through it. Like a smart person, I figured 250whp from an obd1 S52 wouldn't be an issue. Nah it slips like no other. I have a single mass lying around with a spec stage 5 but that was way too harsh.

What else can I do for a clutch setup? What do you guys run?

well I went back to a stock S52 in this iteration. That sounds like a sexy setup but overkill and way out of my budget lol.

Do your own research. I wouldn't go with the blue one. I'm switching to JBRacing after using blue flywheel. Will never purchase from said company again.

On a stock/only bolt-ons S52? Why not just a stock M3 clutch? I run a stock M3 clutch with a 16lb fidanza flywheel and it rules.

Only flywheel I have installed which the bolts backed out. I'm not the only one, its actually quite common with the blue ones. The manager also isn't the most cooperative or customer-service oriented guy around. Again, just google the company before you sink a grand into the pretty colours.

wow...really? i have their older flywheel which isnt blue, and i havent had any issues it. but yes this said company does have shit customer service. i most likely will not buy anything else from them unless i have no other choice.

Are you talking about pressure plate bolts? How long since you installed it that the bolts backed out? I've had mine for a few months. Should I be worried yet?

No the pressure plate bolts were ok, it was the actual flywheel to crank bolts--every one of them which is scary because that thing is basically a 7000rpm saw dangerously close to my genitalia and vital organs...

Again, not the only one that's happened to and I used new hardware, proper torque plate, loctite and torque method. Just as an FYI.

Be worried if you hear a knock coming from the bell housing. Mine got progressively louder until it was unbearable even over open exhaust. I shouldn't have run it as long as I did. Mine was around 1000km after install and fresh rebuild.
