    S52 internals in S50 Block Power differences??

    My s50 needed a bore so i decided to bore my s50 +.4mm
    get s52 crank and pistons (still looking to purchase).
    I was wondering if anyone knows:

    1) would the compression be the same as an S52
    2) hp/tq increase?

    if anyone has done this i would like to hear their input.

    This is commonly done in Asia and other countries where engine displacement determines TAX; Buy 320i/520i and pop in a 3000cc or 3200cc rotating assembly. I just fedex air-ed a s52 crank and 2x full turbo s52 aftermarket rods+pistons (engine set) to Malaysia

    The crazier guys just order TRM or Technica full turbo engine kit when doing the stroke up and turbocharge afterwards.

      When you look at the differences in power those two engines make s52 and s50 it's maybe around ten horse power. I think it would be easier work wise and cost wise to leave it normal s50 and invest the money on to other bolt ons that will get you the same amount of power
