S50 swap: what do i need to run HFM and 24#

Hey

I am doing the S50 swap into my e30. I'd like to use HFM from e34 540i and 24# injectors.

question: since i am using 413 red label ECU, what chip should i be looking for to account for the HFM and 24# ?
Are the chips that manufactured for 506 ECU (95 m3) compatible with the 413 ECU ? would it be a direct fit? (i.e chips developed for m3s with HFM and 24# would work for my swap?)

.. or will i have to dick around with AF piggybacks and stick with the stock chip?

what's a better option? (i guess a performance chip would have other goodies besides a different AF tables, like timing advance tables, etc.. but with AF piggyback i can adjust - as opposed to fixed tables in the chip)

Just get a tuners chip for the V8 HFM and injectors. The 413 non-ews chip is available almost anywhere: turner, aa, ect...

sorry, i am still confused

you say i should get a chip for 413 (tuned for HFM and 24#) but those chip are perhaps for an M50, since the ECU is from an M50, not S50. There is a difference, no?

Just wondering if you'll need to upgrade the fuel pump or not? Is the stock E30's fuel pump should be sufficient?

Yes, I'm running the same setup with Conforti software.

You can get the Conforti chip through Turner or Eurosport- both have great customer service in my experience, but Eurosport is cheaper.

Since you are using the red label 413, you don't need EWS delete, but you may want to do the speed sensor delete just to eliminate the need for wiring it up.
