    Brake pedal too sensitive?

Hey so I hear a wooshing noise coming for my brake pedal everytime I step on the brakes. And the brakes are way to sensitive! I barely tap it will stop my car really fast.

Any ideas? It's a s52 swap in my e30 and I'm using the stock booster. I used the e30 t style check valve at the brake booster and plugged one of the tubes shudder

Edit: also wondering why doesn't my rpm gauge work? Everything else works. The mph, coolant, gas etc.

You prob didnt mod the clevis and your pushing on the booster sideways ripping the diaphram.

I slotted it and put it it to the side. I did some research they said I need to adjust the celvis.

Update: it makes a woosh noise from what appears to be the brake master cylinder rod. I tried shortening and extending the celvis but no luck.

        Any ideas?

I have this same exact problem, except im using a 944 booster. Except that if i drive the car around a bit brake pressure builds up and the brakes stick.

My guess is that i ruined the booster being too rough modifying the rod.

Trying a new booster this weekend

The clevis is still misadjusted so that the brakes are on. Play with the clevis some more...Get it adjusted further away from the switch so that the pedal has a titch of free travel before it acts on the rod.

This. I had the same problem before and adjusting my clevis did the trick. Also flooring it through the power band was a temporary instant fix lol
