Yearly model Getrag trans question

I bought a Getrag 260 transmission that doesn't come with the mounts to install the shift carrier (apparently prior to 9/85 type shifter carrier). I am assuming it is the one in the link below:

My questions is, can I convert it somehow to the newer style shift carrier or do I have to purchase the sheet hole metal plate looking think with all the rest of the parts?

Also will a Z3 shifter work with this type of carrier as I have already ordered one and its on its way to me...

What car is this for? Im pretty sure you would just have to buy the other mounting.

you need the bolt on OEM adapter from e30m:

#2 and hardware from e30m+ shift carrier+selector rod to match your car (i.e. 325 late model alumium shifter / parts that will be already on your car). Then your Z3 shift stick will work fine.
