I did not get an ECU with my m52 which came from an auto '97 328i. Does it matter which MS41.1 I get to have flashed? I noticed that there are different letter designations.
Since it's being flashed with what you want it to do (and not do) I don't think it matters. The one I bought for my upcoming swap project came out of a '97 M3.
