    Missing Bolt - Alternator fastener

Guys I feel like massive idiot for asking, but I have searched all over realoem and I seriously cannot find the part number for the two bolts that hold the laternator to the oil filter housing.

If someone could provide me with the correct part number for the bolt that goes through the top of the alternator bracket holes and the one for the bottom ones, I will very grateful!

I've got an E36 328i as a reference car and it looks to be around M10 size.

I had a hard time with this also. I ended up taking measurements and ordering the bolts from McMaster-Carr, Bolt Depot, or some place like that. They're very long.

        You rock!

The spec reads to be M10 x 150mm which seems about the right size! :)

Any idea what the bottom one is?

I don't remember the bottom one, but its an m10, probably about 80mm or so long. I picked one up at the hardware store. Just measure the alternator where the bolt goes in the front to the threaded section on the back, and thats your length.

Holy shit. It just occurred to me yesterday I didn't have these parts either. I LOVE THIS THREAD!
