I just installed the porsche 944 booster in my swap got everything put back together and i dont have any brakes, pedal just goes all the way to the floor! I did not bleed the brakes but i never opened the master so i didn't figure i had to. Is that what i need to do? I'm using the porsche 944 booster and the stock master cyl. I cut and rethreaded the rod to the exact length as the original one. Is there something i'm missing? Thanks

You shouldnt have too unless youve opened part of thebrake system during the swap. I never have had too after a swap, using the 944 booster.
Im talking about this thing. Not a 944 booster, but Its the same principal. these can fall out, and maybe it didnt get intsalled when you put the booster in?

So i opened everything up this morning and it seems normal and as it should be. with the master off when you press the brakes the rod comes out and it works fine. I bled the brakes for awhile but it just doesnt have any pressure, it just dribbles out of the nipple, and not squirting like it normally does. Any more thoughts.
just another clue i had everything working with the stock setup and all i did was switch out the booster and i get this! Any help would be greatly appreciated, i need this thing to be going!! :)

Sometimes all that full stoke pumping will cause an older master cylinder to give up as the rubber seals get dragged over the full length of the cylinder bore. I would bench bleed the master first just to make sure. A vacuum bleeder avoids this problem. I run the same set up as you with the 944 booster and stock e30 master and I like the boost and the feel.

Thanks guys. I think it must be my master cause i tried bench bleeding it and put it all back together and it still dont work. It sprays good out of the master but when i connect the lines it just barely dribbles out of the bleeders, and the pedal just goes all the way to the floor. I got a new master ordered so we'll see if that helps!!
