M50 starter re-wiring

I think i have a bad connection or wire going to my starter. Theres 3 wires. 2 black, and one red wire. How hard are these to replace?

Those wires a pretty beefy, I dont really see how those would go bad. What are your symptoms? You should also have two smaller wires going to the starter.
