    M/S50 Rebuild Master Price List

The 327i swap got pretty boring quick, so now I'm in the middle of light s50 rebuild before I go ahead and swap it into my car. I'm also a college student with a fairly tight budget, I'm sure some of you guys can relate;)

Anyways, the google docs link below is a price list I have started to work on for some of the parts that you may or may not need for a rebuild. It doesn't take into account the brand/quality of the part, so this is in no way the final word on where you should be buying your parts. I did choose to ignore the Victor Reinz top end gasket kits, instead only considering Elring Head gasket kits (there is a guy on ebay that sells them for $160 shipped). I'm pretty sure I forgot lots of things and anyone who clicks on the link can edit, so feel free to make changes .just don't fuck it up just for the sake of fucking it up lol.

Hopefully, this list can get to a point where it is useful to more people than just me.

A couple other links that may be helpful.

And a read only version just in case someone decides to be a dick and ruin it:

yeah I hear you. But differences between shop prices and the extent of work that each engine needs are so scattered that any price I tried to tack onto machine work would be pretty meaningless for most of us. Everyone can order from BMA, but not everyone can flock to Minnesota if that's where the cheapest machine shop happens to be. This is by no means an exhaustive list, so still expect unexpected expenses

Great idea. Eventually I'd lock the spreadsheet to editing when it is fairly mature, as people are generally immature.
