Treehouse adapter received..got a couple of questions

    hi guys,

got the adapter today. (im not very wiring knowledgable so thought ill save myself the headache and buy the adapter).

there are 3 extra wires running off it as you can see in the pic. two are for oil level sensor and one for ABS power.

Ive sent Jon@ Treehouse email about them but thought ill check here too :)

    Here s a pic

Do i need to run the Oil level sensor wires to anything? (i wasnt gonna use the M50 sump sensor anyways, was gonna leave unplugged).

as for the ABS power, any help on whats needed there?

    thanks guys

If you don't hook up the sump sensors, your check panel obviously won't work.

The ABS power is for certain late model cars (IIRC 90+) that run an ABS power wire through the engine harness. If you have a 90+ and don't hook this up, your ABS won't work. If you're pre-90 you'll be OK leaving it loose.

Yeah mine is '88. Great thanks very much.

So for oil sensor it's simply running those wires and joining them onto the plug that sits on sump, yeah?
