    resonator or muffler...or both?

I finally got my M50 swap running and now I need to work on the exhaust...I have stock manifolds straight through to a magnaflow muffler and it is WAY TOO LOUD and raspy as hell!!!!

My question is should I add a resonator or a muffler to the system or both? I know magnaflows are loud, but for now I would like to keep that muffler on and tone it down a bit. I dont want to be spending the money on a whole new exhaust right now since the car will be going turbo in a few months and I would have to redo it again....It is dual pipes all the way to a Y-pipe just before the rear axle and then single into the Magnaflow.

    Suggestions?

I would suggest maybe add a resonator. I did my M50 swap and kept my old exhaust, and it sounded nice ! But it was too nice to keep toned down. I got the resonator cut out and immediately heard the difference in loudness, and the best part is I only get a VERY small rasp in each gear = Me needing to change my pants after driving haha
