    s52 vacuum routing?

    hello everybody

i need some help on my project car. its a 1970 bmw 2002 with a s52 swap

the s52 is in there and its running on odb2 electronics

i am having a very shitty idle, i have some check engine lights and checked them but its just running lossless because i am running odb1 fuel rail with m50 manifold. my question is about vacuum. I think its because i dont have enough vacuum going in or something.

heres a little diagram i made. is this right? where does the second vacuum thing on the intake boot go? so far i have one line coming from the icv

im running manual brakes aswell so the top vacuum port is plugged in the m50 manifold

Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

    Trust me it stock

This is the way i did my OBD1 s52 and i have no idle issues. Are you sure your ICV is clean and moves freely?
Did you run the vacuum line to the FPR?
Did you run the oil line from the bottom of the oil separator back to the pan?
Did you keep the air injection system? (or whatever it's called)

        air injection is gone.

vacuum line is connected to the fpr
the oil line is connected from the seperator back to the pan.

then you are good with all the vacuum line unless you have a leak somewhere.
what are you experiencing exactly when you say "very shitty idle"? is it bouncing? also the MAF could cause that as well. try cleaning it with an alcohol bath.
