Went to Pick-n-pull and got a new (used) hard brake line and took my time bending it and....it fits like a glove.
I wanted to mate the trans and engine but I didn't have anyone to help so I power washed the engine bay again (brake fluid everywhere).
Then I decided while the car was outside I would power wash and degrease the years of filth on the rear subframe. Here is how it turned out.

Next I got the shifter linkage in for the zf320. (crappy phone pic)

Then I ripped out the old harness.

Can anyone help me identify what these wires are? Im slowly getting to know how to read the ETM but i get lost after a couple minutes. :(
The wires are on the harness and they come out in the glovebox to a connector with only 2 purple wires.

While I was in the glove box I noticed NASTY white crap on the A/C lines? Whats the best way to clean it off?

Thanks for reading and responding to my questions.SEE THE MOST BORING M50NV BUILD THREAD HERE: http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=288275Comment

Huge update 8/26/13
Things really starting moving last week.
Got the new (correct) flywheel resurfaced.

Got the flywheel, clutch, and pressure plate on.

Got the new ground strap (thanks to noke325)

Married the Engine and Trans together (sort of difficult when doing this alone)

OF COARSE I TOOK ONE OF THESE!

Got the engine ghetto rigged with a seat belt

After having the take off the A/C compressor got the engine in :)

On Saturday I spent some time at pick-n-pull and figured out how the e36 evap canister works because I was so confused for a while. I decided to run the Charcoal canister in the same bracket that the power steering was in but slightly modified for a tighter fit.
Now need to connect some cooling hoses and hopefully get the adapter done this week
