Well, I bought the correct DME unit, and that was defintely fixed the problem. My dme before had EWS or was just bad. SO, I got spark, my injectors are firing, but there is no fuel delivery. I put my head under where the fuel pump is, and when I turn the key I can hear it humm, but no fuel is being pumped. And yes, there is gas in the tank. What else could it be? My sending unit? I think I am going to pull the pump tomorrow and check it out. Im gettin real excited, shes so close to starting.
I GOT SPARK, but fuel is a different story

Nope, that was one of the first things I checked, because I have done that before. I disconnected both lines, and checked it out. Nothing out of either of em.Originally posted by JordanI bet you reversed the fuel lines from the frame rail to the fuel rail.Follow me @baysidefabrication on InstagramComment

Then either your pump is bust or you have a blockage. Bad filter?Originally posted by Widebody325Nope, that was one of the first things I checked, because I have done that before. I disconnected both lines, and checked it out. Nothing out of either of em.

there are 3 lines. supply, return and evap. double check. did you keep the charcoal canister w/ e36 elec valve? if not, you could have capped the supply line vs the evap line. dont ask me how i know. (the 86 has the filter right where the late models have the canister.....shame on me.) cheers, jasonOriginally posted by JordanI bet you reversed the fuel lines from the frame rail to the fuel rail.

THE MOTOR IS ALIVE. After sorting out some fuel supply issues I got the motor running. Idle's perfect and revs like it should. (And yes open headers sounds really badass) I havent taken the car for a drive yet. I want to make my exhaust system first. I got about 4 more hours of fabricating for the exhaust, then I should be able to take it for a spin. I also still have to get the temp gauge and the tach working. I will post pics this weekend if all goes well.Follow me @baysidefabrication on InstagramComment
