    S52 Manifold Plug...size??

I can't find for the life of me a bolt to plug the o2 sensor holes in the S52 manifolds I'm using. I think it's an M18 thread, but I dont' know what pitch the thread is. Anyone? Jason89i you know the answer?

thanks in advance, what a pain this stupid little plug is to find...

those are kind of expensive to use as plugs, especially since i don't have any old ones.

i wasnt fond of sticking dummy o2 sensors there....oil drain plugs worked great. i got some new ones from the local parts store. i think (shooting from memory) they were 18x1.5. i added a washer so the threaded end didnt stick into the flow passage too far. looks just like aarons posted above. cheers, jason

              yeah....

              Aaron-
I think you need to post that part number, along with the part number for the hole between the cylinders on the flange.

              Thanks,
              Addis

addissimo - it looks like aaron tapped that hole and threaded a bolt in there. That's actually a really good idea. Mine's already welded otherwise I'd do that tomorrow.

aaron - I didn't even think of an oil pan drain plug, I have a spare on or maybe even two I'll have to try tomorrow, good idea. I couldn't find the part number on realoem.com for that plug. The pic shows a plug but it doesn't list a number for it. I tried a bunch of different cars and had little luck, please post it if you can find it.

Okay guys. The p/n for the 02 sensor plug is: 11621437517

Dave is correct. I had the manifold tapped and a plug put in. Also, rumor has it that the one piece exhaust gasket (for 3 exhaust ports) is a better choice to go with over the individual gaskets. The p/n for those is 11621744252.

Here it is from the other side.

Yes, I believe the plug came with the crush washer.

I had a shop weld up the hole on the manifolds. It cost me $20.

I just ordered the two bolts from the dealer and they cost $6 each, washers included. I know it's expensive, but screw it, this is one of the last parts i'll be buying for a few weeks, this puppy should be running in a week or so...
