M42 / 318 fuel pump sufficient?

Does the fuel pump found in M42 cars pump enough fuel for the six cylinder conversion?

The fuel tanks are the same across E30 models, so I assume I could change the pump to the 325i one?

That is what I am using currently. So far no problems

No problem with my 318 pump feeding my M52. Make sure to put in a clean fuel filter.
