Help Fitting g240 trans brace (m52, g240 swap)

So I dropped the m52 in today after a good struggle, the engine mounts (green m5 mounts) are sitting well, but I am having an issue with the transmission cross brace.

The trans brace is 5mm to the right of where it needs to line up on both sides. This sounds like only a small amount but I can't get it to budge. I am using e21 rubber mounts on my stock g240 cross member and it is sitting well. Is there something that I am missing? I have checked and the brace is on the right way.

NOTE: the rear of the car is still jacked up in the air (front is on tires).

use a big pry bar to get it to line up, my same setup didnt fall directly into place either

You may need to shim it some on the passenger side.
