    Early 24v wiring dilemma

    Specs: 1985 325e
    Harness: Manual M50 vanos
    Starter: E36

These ground wires come from the harness sitting under the manifold(Drivers side of the motor). Where do they connect to?

These two wires come out from the side of the fuse box(Drivers side). Where do they go? :

These wires on the passenger side. My car does not have a distribution box. The battery is in the rear of the car.Where do these connect to? :

These two wires on the other end of the harness on the drivers side. I believe they connect to the starter. Am I correct?

    Thanks.

alternator ground, starter ground, colored wire no idea. possibly starter.

needs to be spliced in to power the fusebox.

one of these needs to be powered one needs to be grounded. Peel cover back a little bit, if its brown it goes onto the frame and if its red it goes directly to the battery.

Starter power alternator power. Big one starter, smaller alternator..

    Hope this helps

In the third picture you can see I have the power line hooked up. I would assume the other two are just grounds.

My other question is about the distribution box. What are the benefits of having one and not having one?
