It's easier to run an electric fan in most cases. With the stock late model 325is radiator I didn't quite have room for a clutch fan, and didn't feel like messing with different combos to fit one. Just fit a pusher electric fan on the front of the rad. Cools just fine so far.

My ugly jawns, I need some more cloth tape to finish wrapping the harness and get the M3 covers.

alt. cooling set up...
I must admit I just NOW learned the alt. has a cooling intake snorkel set up...
I always saw the gaping hole above my alt. and never knew what it was.
My swap was completed last yr...and has 3 track days......no issues.
After looking thru this thread....Why did some/mos
t of you choose NOT to run the intake set up?..
is it superfluous?...
