M50tu vs M52B28 in the real world?

Hi All, shifting my build from M60 to a 24V engine. I have a really nice, lower mileage, e34 M50tu being offered to me at a good price. It has all the bits on it, oil pan, harness, etc. I was wondering, in the real world, how much difference is there between it and an OBD-1 M52 with regards to daily driving?

I've had three E39 528s and one '92 NV 525. So I can't make a direct comparison. There may be a possible FI addition down the road.

I'm currently searching through threads, but would like to make a decision soon.

if you're being offered the engine at a good price, go m50tu. especially with FI being a possibility!
