Just as i got my M50TU running right, the plastic power steering pulley commited suicide. Does anyone know if any M50's came with a metal one? Tried searching, but didnt come up with much of anything. Also, does anyone know if its possible to use a shorter belt to bypass p/s for now, and what size the belt would be?

Theres a thread on the PS belt. And AFAIK all M50 pumps had metal pulleys. You sure youre not thinking M52?

I found a metal one at the yard today. It seems that m50's with 160amp alternators have metal pulleys, while the others do not. It might just be a coincidence
