Going price on an m50 vanos

Hi guys I have a 95 e34 with a nice m50 vanos and 128k miles funds great but it may be with more as a parts car than whole. What is the market price for a low-mileage known good engine like this? The advantage of an m50 out of an e34 is it will drop directly into an e30 as it has the correct oil pan etc.

If you have bough or are looking to buy an engine what would you be willing to spend on this?

On the engine from E34 with everything attached to it, assuming it all works fine, pulled and ready to go on a pallet. $500 should be fair.
