M52 swap. Power cutting when gas applied. HELP

Well the last few days my car has not been wanting to run properly. I have had the engine in for about 3 weeks and with little issues the whole time but they have seemed to have gotten worse.

When my car has been sitting for say longer than 30 min, I'll crank it and it will idle rough an eventually smooth out. The problem I am having is that whenever I go to apply power it wants to cut out or sit there and sound like its missing horrible and sometimes sound like its backfiring thru the intake. Up until yesterday it would do this for the first 30-60 seconds of driving it and then it would clear up and drive normally. I thought it may be my icv so I just took that out and gave it a good cleaned and reinstalled. Seems like the problem is even worse now, with the same symptoms. I don't believe to have a vacuum leak but I also don't have a smoke machine to test that. I have checked the cel about 5 times in the last week and the 4 consistent codes I am retrieving are p0170, p0173, p1188, and p1189. All fuel related codes. I also had a cam sensor code thrown yesterday but that was the only time.

I can't figure out what would be causing these types of intermittent issues.

    About 80k on engine.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

EDIT: bought a whole car for the swap and had it running without any check engine light on.

Injectors is my bet. Throw another used set of 21.5's in there...

I do have an extra set of injectors and coils so I'll give em a try. And no worries Dave! Rob have me your number so I'm gonna try some trouble shooting tomorrow and see what I come up with. You may or may not get a call lol. But I will let y'all know what happens with the car.

I just had the same problem but it was because it would gold pressure when under load. Did you upgrade the fuel pump when you did the swap? If so did you use the hose they supplied you with the pump? I did and it wasn't sealing tight on the sending unit side so i was spratin fuel all over inside my tank. so I went to O'Reilys spent 15 dollars for fuel hose and fuel hose clamps and it fixed the problem. I would check your fuel pressure.

Thanks for the tip but I have not upgraded the fuel pump yet. That is all stock so I believe all my lines are fine. Fuel pressure is my next check.
