    M52 Turbo Idle miss

    E30
    M52b28 obd1 swap
    .140 MLS w/arp's
    6262 .83
    TRM tune
    60# injectors
    walbro 255

The car runs very rich wot on 9lbs. of boost pegged at 9:0!! Cruising the AFR's are between 14:5 and 15:5. Cold Idle it pretty much sits at 11:5, and warm idle it will hunt a bit between 14:0 and 16:5 it will miss often and lean out to 17:0+. It misses alot more when in closed loop. It never misses full throttle but it will hiccup a bit low rpm load when boost is introduced.

I have pressure tested the charge piping, and sealed up some very minor post maf leaks (throttle body & IAC hose crack). This cured nothing. I have replaced the oxygen sensor, with no helpful results. As well as a new coolant temp sensor. I closed the gap up on the plugs, this did nothing for the AFR numbers, but I did notice a power decrease.

I have had the car on a dyno with their wideband pegging at 9:0 as well. I hit 9lbs of boost and put down 236/205torque. Pretty horrendous right?

The car runs very smooth wot despite these rich conditions. Is the boost covering up some issues?

Fuel Pressure checked out okay 47 idle, 52 blip w/no load a bit more under load.

I have also checked cam timing +vanos timing. This was all spot on.

Performed a stomp test receiving a 1216 code for a bad TPS, replaced the TPS with a brand new one. This did not help my original condition.

Installed new coil boots and plugs no change.

Is this injector related? I've ohmed the coils they were all the same.

I cannot figure this out lol.

Any input is appreciated...help this pretty little car run right.

my friends recent m50 turbo swap kinda had similar issues and made similar 'low' power. He lives in Georgia and ended up dropping the car off at trm. They came up with his inter cooler piping being being too small. I don't have the complete details but just an idea. This is with a full trm tune with blow thru maf by the way. Don't know if this would help at all but worth a shot.

I have read his thread on bimmer. His ic piping was too small for the maf. Mine is the correct size.
