    S52 m50 manifold kit

Because of clearance issues with my obd2 throttle body and the ix booster I need to switch to an m50 manifold. Which kit seems to fit the best on an obd2 swap?

I have deleted pretty much all obd2 additions except for the CCVV so I don't need all the extra vac ports but can easily block them if need be. I am running an early e39 528i fuel rail already. The turner kit looks the nicest but I have not seen reviews of it in an e30, m50 manifold kit apparently interferes with e30 stuff, and the KO kit I know nothing about.

My swap is OBD2. We used the m50manifold.com kit on mine, though I'm using an OBD1 TB and an E32 booster. I also kept the CVV.

What E30 stuff does it supposedly interfere with?

I'm running the m50manifold.com kit on my m52 and didn't have any problems getting it installed. It's a tight fit, but nothing on the e30 is in the way.

Why not just switch the throttle body then

You would just have to make a gasket for between the intake manifold and obdI throttle body.

10Toes can you explain that more, maybe with a photo for reference..

I had the same idea of swapping the TB and making a gasket but it did not work. The obd1 throttle does not fit as the linkage on the side of the unit hits the body of the obd2 manifold. It would need roughly a 10mm spacer to clear the pivot/springs.

I did some looking around yesterday and found the general consensus is more that the m50 manifold.com kit hits the obd1 TB but I do see lots of good reviews otherwise. I really like the Turner kit, don't mind the price but worry about the space underneath. The CCVV hose is already tough to route to the e34 dipstick without kinking, any lower and it may not be possible.

Ended up ordering the Turner kit, seems to be well reviewed so I don't doubt it will work out ok

I run M50manifold.com kit on all my swap cars. Interferes minorly with OBD1 TB. Just needs to be adjusted a little to clear.
