M52 cut out

So, Im odb1 M52 with S52 CAMS, 21.5 lb injectors and other add ons. I got the TRM tune customized for what I'm running but when I give full throttle, it seems like I reach the limiter and it just redlines at 6.

I questioned maybe it was the fuel pump but the engine does not starve for fuel, it simple just reaches the limiter. Could it have to be something with the chip or something with ECU?

WTF is going on here. The DME doesnt see vehicle speed and sets a soft rev limit at 6000 rpm? I've driven my car, but not to redline (not that my tach works anyways) but why would vehicle speed affect the DME setting a lower rev limit?

Why would any other sensor? It doesn't know how fast you're going. So it can't govern you at 128 or whatever so they did some math to see what rpm that would be. So 5500 it is.

have you searched any? VSS signal has been covered in here a billion and two times. My dme gets a signal from the cluster

Did you not read through the thread I pointed you to? It tells you exactly what you need to do:

Connect pin 9 of the X20 to pin 14 of the C101

Once that is connected you won't have any problems with rev limiting.

I connected that already when I did my harness. Is it possible that my VSS in the diff has gone bananas?

My VSS works perfectly...and all I had to do is search on this forum.
