I have an OBD2 swap that i am trying to tie up some loose ends on. One of which is what do i need to do with the bottom cyclone vavle line? I dont have a drain pipe on my dip stick so i have the drain from the cyclone plugged. I am guessing that long term i cant run like this so what are my options? I know i can get a tube welded on my dip stick but is there anything else i can do?

Thats the drain for the valve, which will be filled shortly if you plugged it (I would not do that). Get a dipstick with the drain and attach it to your valve.

I had the same issue. Ran it for a while with a 6-inch length of tube that was plugged and emptied it every couple of weeks. Now I have an oil catch can connected so that I only have to empty it every 6 months or every oil change. I bought a cheap metal catch can off ebay and rigged it up to sit under my intake air box.Comment

For what it's worth I had the CCV drain tube welded to the dipstick for no cost, but most guys with a welder would do it for a 6 pack. It's a pretty simple job to do. It does put the drain tube at a pretty shitty position that makes it half kink with the stock hose but it seems to be working out ok so far.1990 332i, 4 door
