    Euro S50 B32 wiring to e30

Looking for info on swapping S50B3.2 into e30 . I've done several M50 swap in past 10 years, I bought my info from Stu's dad back in '95.
i may have a deal on a S50B3.2 motor for my own car. Any help on wiring would be great or point me in the direction of someone thats already done this swap. I know some of the issue with doing this swap, but willing to jump in and do this. I will know Wednesday if motor is a done deal.

If this goes thru, I will take many pics of swap, but will need a place to host.

    Thanks, Lino

Hey old man , have you gotten so old that you can't remember the year of your own car ?? :p

Oh and I would not really bother with the Euro motor at this point .
Checked out my buddy's "new" E30 M3 with Euro S50 mated to a 6-spd this wekend and he claims that while its pretty quick that it feels a slower than his E36 M3 .

Then his gearing is screwed up, cause he should be blowin cars off the road.

Yes, I would say that something is not adding up. The E30 has like a 400 lb weight advantage, and even if his E36's S50/52 is maxed out it should be a one-sided comparison...

Well ..don't get me wrong , of course its a badass car and is pretty quick .
But its just that his modded E36 seemed to pull harder than the E30 with Euro 3.0 .
I would guess that the modded E36 is putting out the same or more torque than the stock Euro motor and that coupled with the 3.64 (or something) gearing is whats equating to the E36 seeming quicker .

Well that and the fact that the E36 was sold to make way for the E30 and there is no side by side comparo .

I was also just trying to state that a S52 with OBDI and a few mods should surpass the stock Euro S50's ouput anyway .
Just figured that with cost factor and all thats involved with the swap that it might just be easier to stick with a US 3.2 .

yeah but the individual throttle bodies are so much more badass, and if you ever get a standalone ECU or alpha/n type piggy back the motor will just be power insane. The intake design on the euro S50B30 is so superior to the US spec that it's almost ridiculous to compare. The euro S50B30 or B32 is the motor to have...always

Oh I hear ya ...the bling factor is definitely there . :)

Oh there is no doubt about it having instant throttle response and that is really is just the shit .

But realistically speaking...a nice built S52 is the way to go for most of us .

Im surprised it feels slower. I know the Euros make more power up top where you cant feel it but when I drive the M3 after the E30 the M3 just feels anemic. Its soo heavy. The E30 just leaps.

Ian, e30.de, Gunni. There are plenty of engrish speaking guys out there who can help you. I, personally, wish I would have waited a few more months because a Euro S50B30 w/6speed came up for sale nearby.
                  Im now E30less.

All I want to know is what booster and master is that.

Wiring a S50 euros is the same as a M50, apart from EWS possibly.

it's not about the bling factor as much as the performance capabilities. With those ITB's you can really open up the intake tract and the engine can literally swallow significantly more air, the power potential is just ridiculous. I love it because it's like my S14 on steroids.

I drove a S50B30 swap E36 M3 a few years back. Had a few goodies like a ltw flywheel, intake, chip, etc and that car was damn fast. Easily faster than any N/A US spec M3 I've been in or driven with. Go to Rogue Engineering's project car section, that's the car I drove. I really wish I could have afforded it when it was sold, it's my favorite E36 that I've driven so far

I wonder whose car this is....hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

                        well lemme clear it up.
The E30 is quicker overall than the e36m3.

My old E36 M3 (Dinan Stage 4) had more torque down low, and pulled harder (even though it weighed 500lbs more)
But once the E30 hits 4500rpms, it sings all the way to 7800rpms.

So i'd say if i line up againsts a E36M3 3.2, it will pull on me at first, but i'll catch up quickly. Plus the shrick cams wouldnt help the torque at all.

my goal now is to relocate the air filter, notice in the pictures that its sucking hot air (and leaning against the radiator hose)

The brake booster is off a 735 (based on the receipts)

But...just be cautious....parts for the euro motor is super expensive...

So if i 'ever' had to do it again....i'd get an OBD1 3.2l M3 engine, run sunbelt cams (an IP prepped motor)...alot of them IP front runners are getting around 275rwhp out of the motors (and parts are abundant)

i'm still waiting for my first street race....darnit...have yet to see a e36m3 running around.

                              could you fint out?
As a stock E30 booster will NEVER work with a non modded manifold,
I measured that a "6,5 diameter booster will work, but nothing is that small
