    M50tu Idle/Throttle Response Problems

    R3v, I need your help...

I have an 89 325i with an m50tu swap. It has trouble finding idle and the throttle response is terrible.

I'm not sure if it would be possible to diagnose the problem through a video, but it can't be worse than trying to describe it in words. So, here it is:

The first time I cranked it (after sitting for more than a year) it started to leak from around the fuel filter area.

Could that be related to the idle issues?

    Thanks in advance

Give the ICV a good cleaning. the valve on the inside should move smoothly.check the condition of all your vacuum hoses as well.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the ICV is brand new.

Im gonna try to do a hookah smoke test tomorrow and see if I find any vacuum leaks
