    dont bash need help wiring my adapter

    hi im doing a m50 swap in my 86 eta , i cant find a clear diagram this is my first time doing an m50 swap i have only done b25 swaps in the past , if anyone can point me in the right direction id greatly apreciate it, i also read the tach signal and mpg signal is somewhere under the dash , i already tucked my headlight harness and shaved my bay i just need to finish my engine harness :)

      I'm looking for more of a clear diy , I found some for a late model but cant strike gold for my early model

        86 Eta's are crossover model so it is determined by early or late model.

            You're gonna have to do some digging. I haven't seen a early

                E34 or E36 harness? I have a pinout for a '86 325es to E34 NV harness that I made up when I did my swap.

                  Etm? ;)

                  It's one thing if you need help on a few pins, but when I had to wire my swap it was: post your chart and we'll give it a looksy so you dont fry your harness.

                    I believe its an obd1 e34 harness , I fried a harness before doing a m20b25 swap big face palm that's why I'm asking for help to play it safe :)

                      a lot is the same between all years just minor differences. Look up the pinouts from the swap wiki and what you can find here. then fo through the etms yourself and make your own then compare.

                            Haven't been on in a while due to busting oil pan on my vr6 but I'm back at work on e30 I found 3 schematics that point me in direction i have an e34 obd1 5spd engine harness I think I got this figured out now
