what combination of factory parts is used to put an e36 m3 engine into an e30 m3?

Im not too sure what these m50 and s50 codes refer to, so please use year numbers, and displacement numbers to describe parts.

m50 come from 325i cars from 92-96? and the s50 is on 95 m3's. the m50 is a 2.5l and the s50 is a 3.0l
