quick question on dipstick o ring set up....s50

my track weekend was cut short as I was leaking oil like a mofo from my dipstick housing/pan...

car felt really scary loose, as Im sure I was driving over my own oil......and when she was in paddock for a while, there was oil dripping from my chassis/frame rails etc...esp drvr side. I heard alot of shit from fellow drivers...lol

I see my dipstick housing was never really secured well...I know it s a common issue w/ swaps but I really need it secure as its a track ride.

    My ques is...

..is there a decisive snap/thump when the o ring seats in the pan?..I just cannot push down hard enough on the tube to get that sucker to seat. I put the o ring on the tube first....then instlld tube in pan.....

I caked mine with gasket sealer haha. Doesn't look very pretty but it works.
If you're not going to do it right, please don't take it out on your car!

i used a tad bit of oil on the oring itself and it sat there w/o issues and no leaks.
