    m52 off timing

so here is what i have going on...

i've been having some issues with my m52 obd1 with cutting power at full throttle and all that so i finally decided to look underneath the valve cover.

i brought the motor to tdc according to the crank pulley

and my cams are off timed. the front lobes point towards each other but seems to look pretty far off.

and the back of the cams are almost square to each other but aren't square with the block.

i've been doing some research on how to time it correctly and i'm going to reseal the vanos as well. but if anyone has the timing tools to do this i would like buy/rent them from you and any advice or tips on how to time the motor correctly i would appreciate that very much as well.
If you're not going to do it right, please don't take it out on your car!

Lots of info here about the vanos and timing:

They also have a link to where you can rent the timing tools.
