M50 swap gurus in the Bay Area???

I might be getting a free m50 engine with a blown head gasket out of a 525 e34 and I'm wondering if there are any people around that are experienced in engine swaps that would have free time to help me out! I've
Seen all the info online about it but I would like some help and also just wanna meet up with other enthusiasts in the the area. Hit me up on here if you or some free time!

Bit of advice, start with an M50 that hasn't overheated. Head might be warped or cracked. Go get a nice long block for $400 and swap all the accessories over instead.
Drive it hard. Maintain it well.

I plan to get the head checked at a machine shop and if it's no good oh well no money spent. Or s52 head (Idk if that possible).

If it's free take it and tear it apart; take head and block to a decent machine shop to be evaluated and built if still good.
