I voted so I guess I should comment. I had kinks initially but now all is well. It follows the principle that you get out what you put in, both time and money -wise. I definitely consider it to be worth the effort, notwithstanding that I'm the type who enjoys tinkering in the garage.
I have the same setup and 3,000 rpm in 5th gear puts me at 75 mph indicated. So, 80 mph would be 3,200 rpm. I cruise at 3,000 rpm for the mpg (and lower risk of getting pulled over), and get over 29 (29.5 calculated by trip odometer and gallons filled, confirmed last Sunday on a 100-mile not-flat highway journey).
Fun fact - 75 mph indicated is 71 mph by GPS. I am running close to factory rolling diameter, 215/40-17.
