    M50 nv need help

I just installed a m50nv motor into my 91 e30. I got the car towed to my friends shop yesterday morning and he called and told me that fuel is coming out of the bottom of the e36 evap (charcoal) canister. He had to open the gas cap to relieve the pressure to stop the fuel leak.

When installing the e36 evap canister, i connected the e30 vacuum hose to the (blue evap quick connection), and the evap purge valve to the throttle body (like stock m50 should).

    My questions are:

    1) What can cause excessive pressure in the tank to make it flow out of the evap?
    2) Did I connect everything right?
    3) Will I need a new evap canister since it has now been filled up with fuel?

Please help me figure this out because I need to get this car running. THANKS

I never heard of this problem, unless fuel tank is defective and fuel tank is filled up with gas all the way to the gas cap.

I've heard of this problem. It's because the fuel supply line has been connected directly to the charcoal canister.

Trace the hoses to the back of the car again. There is an evap line, supply, and return.
