    S52 OBD1: Arps/.140 turbo mls questions.

Well I have had a hell of a time with my s52 and oil consumption/burning. Well a leakdown test finally gave us the answer. Cylinder #5 exhaust valve seal had failed. Well sent the head off to the machine shop but I still have a few questions.

I want to throw in the Mls hg and Arps in since the head is off. I want to turbo this engine down the road. The head will be polished to a mirror finish but for the block, how should it be prepped? The engine is in the car.

Is it safe to drive the car for a few months with the lower compression on the stock tune? Maybe 1000 miles in the next 3 months.

    Thanks guys.

I ran my s50 with the MLs and arps for at least 5k miles before I went turbo, never had an issue.

You will not have any issues with the lower compression.
