Rough Idle S50; everythign else works

So when my car is idling, it seems as if it is almost slightly misfiring. The revs will bounce from time to time, but not always. When I'm driving it though it's fine, pulls great. I've changed the Fuel injectors because I thought it was a lack of fuel, but it didn't do anything. I have an aftermarket air intake, and you can kind of hear an air leak. I doubt that could be it, but you never know.. Any suggestions?

That air leak that you hear is your problem.

Most likely, find air leak and fix.

Thanks guys! It might be in the booster, but I doubt it. I'll fix the leak and I'll post on here if it's all good or not.

So checked for leaks, and then plugged everything. Doesn't seem to be the problem. Any other suggestions?

Check ICV hoses, intake manifold gaskets, oil pan and valve cover gaskets. Vacuum leaks don't help 24v's run well or consistent.

            Clean ICV, no MIL?

Sub'd to see where this goes.

Honestly my swap runs perfectly.... with the exception of a slightly rough idle feel. ICV, O2 sensor, TPS, basically every sensor should be checked. I changed most to eliminate variables and it does very well now but still just doesn't feel as smooth as an E36 M3 would. Of course mounts come into play but most swaps have new mounts anyway. I need to smoke test mine, maybe that will do the trick.

how did you check for leaks? spray WD-40 or similar to check for idle bumps?
