Any more updates...did he say what it was? I was gonna post one more thing in case you hadn't gotten it yet. When I said trace the ignition wire, I mean go from the key cylinder to all the connectors that big fat green wire makes all the way to the engine harness!

I havent recd any details yet.....but I know he has been tracing everything coming from the harness....

....he is the kinda tech that is meticulous and when he had a shop I could not afford himm..now that he is retired i can!!!...lol

Ill find out more......oh, he did say that bad connection/wire was NOT related to the swap...hmmmmm

gkurey's situation, altho unusual, could not have been more similiar to what happened to me....

my green ignition wire in the harness(under the m3 firewall cover) was frayed a bit.....and was sporadically causing this craziness.....no fuel/spark.....stalls.....no starts...etc..

it really was a hidden lil shit barely visible........

well, its been a such a sporadic issue that honestly Im a bit spooked, so Im not a 100% believer yet...lol

this tech knows his electrics for sure........so I feel good about it...he did a step by step diagnosis/analysis

Ill drive her a bit before winter sets in.....see how she goes........the track season is over so thats done....

....keeping fingers crossed.
